This review is from: Maxxis ADvantage UST Mountain Bike Tire (Sports) I was looking for a cheap/effective set of UST tires for my singlespeed. Didn't want to use stans to goup up the inside of my rims again. I came across these with decent reviews and decided to take a shot. I have been pleasantly surprised by the traction these tires provide, and the confidence I have in the corners because of those big honkin knobbies. They shed mud better than I expected, but that is not to stay they are stellar. My only gripe with them is that the rolling resistance isn't as good as the Nevegals they replaced. I feel they do grip better though, so that's the trade-off you're going to have. This review is from: Maxxis ADvantage UST Mountain Bike Tire (Sports) Have the UST ready model on my Ibis Mojo SL for almost two years. The only tire I ride. I live in a 4 season country, so tried on dry, wet and everything in between (snow excluded :)). Great traction, long life (front tire is 2 years in service, know its not that healthy, but it keeps rolling and tracking and rubber in good shape). Hold two spare once at home for when I will need to replace. I'm that hooked up with it.
