This Maxxis High Roller Mountain Bike Tire is sturdy, reliable, well-made and cost effective. It will take you through the toughest of terrains, highest mountain paths, most dangerous backroad swerves and deepest of valleys without a single problem. I strongly recommend such a useful tire for any and all of your bikes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Grip and Fast Rolling, April 15, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
I have been out a hand full of times since purchasing this tyre. I replaced my WTB Prowler MX in the rear with the High Roller and it is AWESOME. The large side knobs are awesome in co corners and virtually never let go around a corner. I only broke the back end out once pushing really hard around a corner in greasy muddy conditions. I highly recommend this tyre to anyone who is looking for maximum grip on the trails.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good UST Tire, May 23, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
This review is from: Maxxis High Roller Mountain Bike Tire (Sports)
I'm running this tire tubeless on the rear of my 2011 Fuel EX 8 on the stock wheel. Used the Bontrager rimstrip and Stan's valve and it airs up with a floor pump. No sealant necessary unless you want puncture protection. Running this on the rear and a Maxxis Ignitor (also UST) on the front seems to be the perfect setup for me and the trail I usually ride.

I like the grip it gives in climbing loose dirt, rocks, roots. The sidewall seems to be much stronger (inherently so, due to UST?) than the rear specific WTB Velociraptor I was using. I liked the grip of the Velociraptor but it felt like it had too much squirm on the corners.
