So I hastily picked out one that was on the showroom wall and had them slap it on. Bad move on my part. I paid for it later with uncomfortable riding, numbness and the inability to ride for more than an hour. I'm a big guy to begin with, so picking a racing seat even with the center channel groove cut out wasn't the best choice. So when I looked around to purchase a replacement saddle, I did my homework this time.This Serfas RX saddle fit the bill perfectly. On my first ride with the new Serfas saddle, I had no numbness at all. I also had a lot more cushioning and can go for much greater distances now. You'll also want to go for a ride or two to break this seat in, but after that it's very comfortable. I used to use additional gel pads over my saddles, which caused some slipping. The Serfas is so comfortable, you don't need any additional padding. Thumbs up. |
