XT has always been the workhorse but HT II is even better than old design. I upgraded from older design to the HT II and have no more side to side give on those hard uphill climbs. Install instructions are ok but some great install video's on youtube to check out before you put it on. just type in "Install external bearing bottom bracket". Finally, the recommended placement of spacers for my bike was incorrect and I had to try two different configurations before getting the chainring to line up correctly for my front derailer. |
