CA conditions, and they work wonderfully. Lightweight and positively clips in.Recently I used these in absolutely horrid downpour and even after walking up slippery slopes (no pun intended), I was able to clip in with little worries about mud bogging down the pedal. I'm only giving them a 4 star rating although they truly function on a 5 star level because they have extremely sharp edges! After just getting these, I was standing near my bike and just brushed my inner calf against it and ended up with Bruce Lee looking scrapes due to razor sharp edges.
