The sidewalls seem lower profile than the tire of the same dimensions that I had previously, which I dont like, but even so it seems to hold up just fine. The Velociraptor excels at eating up broken ground and rough trails full of loose rock and gravel. I've had one on the rear of my bike and would advise everyone to simply buy one of these if you have a decent tire on the front wheel, these tires were meant to climb, period. After strapping that thing to my 19" On One Inbred, I could climb stuff I would have balked at before. I'm buying another because I have literally worn my current one smooth! Truly a great tire.
